Adsense ? The Powerful Passive Income Generator

Webmasters have a revolutionary new method of collecting income from their websites.

Whereas in the past advertising revenue was reserved for those sites with large a coming and going of visitors, now even teenagers are making a quick buck with their online hobby blogs. People place adsense on their online family photo albums, their blogs and their business sites. The minimum you would get, even with a small amount of traffic, is for adsense to pay for your hosting costs.

Adsense revolutionized the world of paid advertising; banner advertising is based on the number of visitors you attract to your site, so the number of ?banner impressions? dictate the revenue you receive. Google Adsense is quite different; it is the number of visitors that actually click on the advertising that determine how much you earn.

There is also a great disparity between payouts; because advertisers bid up the price for certain keywords, some ads pay more than others. As such, a site with few visitors but expensive keywords in their google ads can potentially still pull in a hefty payout.

Google really has taken the web by storm; attracted to passive income, more and more people are seriously capitalizing on their Google adsense advertising. Some of the highest earners manage to attract enough visitors to make a four figure monthly income, just from using adsense alone! This is not one of those get-rich-quick schemes and Google?s adsense success is largely thanks to the fact that Google already enjoyed a fantastic reputation before introducing the program. They are a publicly traded company with physical headquarters. This, and the fact that anyone can apply to use adsense for free, has caused millions of people to sign up. For google it was a smart move, because now they extend their presence to countless websites and generate millions of dollars in advertising revenue. People were never reluctant to sign up, because the program is free. Google benefits by more people using adsense, so offering it for free was the best thing they could do.

One of the driving forced behind the program are its relevance to each and every page on a website; the program picks up keywords appearing in the website copy and automatically displays relevant ads. This increases the chances of people clicking through, and the webmaster collecting more revenue.

People are leveraging their income by operating several websites and attempting to attract as many targeted visitors as possible; in many instances we can observe that people work hard at a site, then once it is established they can largely leave it alone, yet still collect significant checks.

A major concern for entrepreneurs was the danger of a competitors ads showing up on their site; thanks to the adsense feature where it only displays relevant advertising. However this problem was solved by offering webmasters the option of filtering out unwanted ads. They can submit the URL of the competing site in their account, and any ads from the website will be blocked.

Google recently came out with a new feature: small targeted keywords based on the site?s content are displayed; then as people click on those, a page opens showing a variety of pay-per-click ads based on that keyword. This gives webmasters the chance of displaying more advertising in less space.

Adsense also adds creditability to your website; the more focused the content, the better the ads will be and this encourages people to built high quality websites. These make the net a better place and generally provide a free service; site owners can afford to share their expertise or passions because they can receive indirect revenue?s. The visitor does not pay for the information; instead the advertisers do, making the website?s existence possible in the first place.

It is no surprise Google adsense is the most widely used form of advertising; they have created a program that is beneficial to both advertisers and users with their ?no click no pay? mechanism, or more popularly called ?pay-per-click?. Advertisers do not pay for ads that are not drawing visitors, and website owners are paid more for each click than they would if the system were based on the number of people viewing the ads, instead of clicking on them.

All in all Google adsense has developed itself into a powerful tool, used by large corporations and the kid next door. They have truly revolutionized how the web thinks about advertising and made the process more profitable for site owners, while less costly for advertisers.

Review of the Rich Jerk and its Pros and Cons

Review of the Rich Jerk and its Pros and Cons by Sherry

This is a short review of the Rich Jerk and its Pros and Cons. The Rich Jerk is great but there is another BETTER alternative to Online business.

PRO

The Rich Jerk Ebook is one of the best sources of information on how to make money on the Internet. Our Staff has reviewed hundreds of e-products over the past 4 years. This is one of the highest quality products we have ever come across and provides very valuable information well worth the money. There are many highly profitable techniques discussed in this ebook. However if you are a novice to Internet marketing you will need to do some additional research before you are able to apply them. One nice thing about this ebook is that it is relatively short in length only 47 pages. You should be able to read the entire ebook in about 2 to 3 hours.

Who is the Rich Jerk ? His real name is Kelly Felix, he is the 27 year old founder of Credit Pro Inc. Kelly also owns and operates guesswhatiheard.com which is a site similar to my space and friendster. Kelly and his wife Summer run the company out of an office in Carlsbad California. He is a self made entrepreneur and cuts out all the BS in everything he does. We have researched several other projects he has worked on and his style of work has remained the same, straight to the point.

The RichJerk.com is not the first profitable clickbank web site Kelly Felix has owned. In June 2005 he sold another one of his web sites that used clickbank, this site which had recorded profits of $55,000 per month sold for $379,000. This website was sold on Ebay.

One of the more interesting techniques discussed in this ebook is that of being a traffic middle man, generating profits with Google Adsense. The basis of this is purchasing cheap pay per click traffic from smaller PPC search engines and then showing your visitors relevant Google Adsense ads. Every time someone clicks on one of the Adsense ads you make money. To understand this technique completely you will have to read chapter 2 of the rich jerk.

The Rich Jerk also provides a quality list of wholesale suppliers for those people interested in selling on ebay. We have reviewed hundreds of wholesale supply lists and his list rivals many of the top wholesale supply list's being sold for $50.00. Now while the list is relatively short the suppliers listed are top quality. When dealing with wholesale supply list's a quality list is much more important than quantity. For RICH JERK E-Book go to the following URL: http://cashprint.richjerk.hop.clickbank.net

CON

The Rich Jerk is a bestselling ebook written by an anonymous millionaire who reveals the secrets he or she used to amass a fortune. It is not a step-by-step guide to making money, but rather a book of ideas. Any one of the ideas, if applied correctly, could make you a lot of money.I have no clue who the Rich Jerk is, and frankly, I don't care. The information in the book was solid and original, and after reading it just once, I got some pretty good ideas of new ways to make money online. Some of the topics covered in the book are: Making money with affiliate programs Making money with Adwords/Adsense E-currency Trading HYIPs Selling on Ebay Search Engine Optimization Sales lettersOn the whole, I thought this was an excellent book because it covered so many different topics, was easy to read, and refreshingly short (just 47 pages). But don't let the length fool you into thinking there is not much information. The Rich Jerk had better content that most other ebooks I have read, which were typically much longer and filled with a lot of fluff.I recommend the Rich Jerk to: Anyone who wants to start an online business, but is not sure which opportunity to pursue People who already have a business, but want some fresh ideas on marketing and making more money with their sites. HOWEVER, If you are visiting this website, most likely you made a search in Google or Yahoo about the Rich Jerk or about Making Money Online. The Rich Jerk may have a strangely appealing Sales Pitch, but his ebook is overpriced at $47.00 I don't believe it's right to charge that much for this type of information. So, Holly Mann wrote her own ebook about how to make money online. She is selling it at such a low price of $14.95 because she wants it to be affordable for the average person. The major difference between her ebook and the Rich Jerk's ebook is in the PRICE. And her ebook offers MORE ways to start making money right NOW WITHOUT startup money to invest. Her ebook is not written in such a style that information is thrown out there, so you can figure it all out by yourself. Every Single Profit-Building Technique and Strategy is broken-down so you can understand not only what to do, but how to do it and how to profit from it the most. You shouldn't have to pay $97 or even $47 to make a new millionaire richer. For HOLLY's BOOK for only $14.95 and to get free gifts as well go to the following URL: http://cashprint.mannco.hop.clickbank.net

Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy and Mesothelioma? Adsense Myths Discussed

Everywhere I turn these days I’m seeing ads for websites being sold proclaiming that they’ve optimized that particular site for an outrageously priced keyword, such as Mesothelioma (a cancer of the lungs caused by asbestos). In fact, I’ll bet that if you did a search at this very moment on EBAY, you would find at least one auction for such a website, probably claiming that you’ll make thousands of dollars a month with it if purchased. But don’t send them that Paypal payment just yet, you might want to read a little further.

In fact, some companies and law firms ARE paying upwards of $100 for specific keywords in the Adwords program, but that does not mean that you, as an Adsense publisher, will receive anywhere near this payout per click. In fact, you may end up being severely penalized and paid very poorly for that search phrase.

Let‘s do another search. Hop on over to Google and search the term “Mesothelioma”. As of this writing, there are over 5 million results. Just a few months ago there were far less. All this tells me is that many believed the hype, and are now competing for a very small market. Won’t they be surprised when they find out how much that click actually pays. I’ll bet it’s less than a buck.

Let’s understand one thing. Google is smart. Period. They have spent a truckload of money in developing this program. And they have made BILLIONS from it. If you had something that was making you several billion dollars a year, wouldn’t you work hard to protect the customers that were paying you? You can bet Google is, and they are watching your web traffic’s quality closely. If you’ve put up a page that is worthless to the surfer, worthless to the advertisers, and just plain worthless overall, you will be penalized for it financially.

The fact of the matter is, there’s a reason why advertisers are willing to pay an extreme cost per click for certain terms. It’s just that there aren’t very many searches for them. Some terms may only have 100 or less searches a month, internet wide! So these advertisers are willing to shell out the dough in order to get that tiny market.

But it’s just not smart business for the little guy to chase these terms. There are a ton of terms out there that pay between $1 and $5 per click that are an absolute goldmine. For example, one of the terms on this site: http://www.thegiftedone.com does quite well for me. Does it pay in the triple digits? Of course not. But I’ll take the smaller paying keywords every time. There are more searches overall for them, and more people actually looking for the content I have to offer. The result is clear. More clicks, more money.

My advice to you on this is simple. Quit chasing the myths, quit searching for that one word that’s going to pay you $500 a click. Focus on building strong websites that are informative for the surfer, and more importantly, productive to your bottom line. Then build as many of them as you can. In time you’ll see just how far a PPC program like Adsense can take you, but only if you work for it.

If you would like more information on Affiliate Websites and PPC programs like Adsense or Yahoo Publisher Network, I have set up a forum at http://www.affiliatewebsitedesign.com . It’s completely free and full of information regarding promotion of PPC targeted websites. I hope to see you there soon!

Get Quality Traffic And More Clicks At Your Google Adsense Site

Keen Google Adsense affiliates will quickly notice that not all traffic they receive at their Adsense site is click-happy traffic.

There will be times when a very high percentage of the traffic received at the Google affiliate site will end up clicking on the Adsense ads displayed.

There will be other times when hardly a soul will click on any of the ads.Closer examination will usually reveal a fascinating and yet obvious fact. And that is the more tightly targeted the traffic, the more clicks you will tend to receive.

This simply means that it is very possible to receive a fraction of the traffic that another site receives, but simply because of how tightly targeted your traffic is, you could easily end up receiving many more clicks and much higher Adsense earnings.

There are even cases where the other site may have three or four times the kind of traffic that your site has and yet you will enjoy more clicks and much higher Adsense earnings. This clearly illustrates the fact that many webmasters and blog owners quite often end up receiving a large percentage of curious rather than interested visitors.

In a way this cannot be avoided because most search terms will hardly produce results that are anywhere near 100 per cent accurate. In fact search results and the improvement of search results is at the center of the current fierce and ongoing battle between leading search engines. While curiosity is a powerful marketing tool that can be used to get visitors to click more at your Google affiliate Adsense ads ads this strategy will hardly work when a vast majority of the visitors you attract to your site are not really interested in the subject at hand.

Yet many webmasters keen on receiving high traffic for the sake of high traffic have often used tactics that tend to trick people to make their way to their sites. This strategy hardly makes sense and the Google affiliate Adsense program illustrates this fact rather brutally. So how does a Google affiliate site attract highly targeted traffic?

It is important that before even embarking on the mission of attracting targeted traffic, that you ensure that your site or blog is tightly targeted at a certain audience and that your content clearly reflects this. This is the only way that you will be able to attract the sort of Adsense ads that will be of interest to your visitors. A common mistake with many is to have a site that is just too general which also attracts Adsense ads that are too general

.One of the most effective ways of ensuring or guaranteeing targeted traffic to your site or blog is to give your visitors a sneak preview of your contents. Let them read sample articles of what they will find at your site. The way to do this is to distribute your articles to high traffic article directories and sites. These sites will publish your articles free and will also include your resource box at the bottom which will give details about you complete with the url to your site or blog.

Some folks will read your article and not visit your site. Which is okay because what should really matter to you is receiving targeted traffic. Actually only a small fraction of the people who read your article will end up at your site, but the good news is that the people who do end up at your site will be very interested in what you have to offer and will tend to spend a long time at your site.

This is the sort of traffic that any webmaster or blog owner would easily kill for.Of course there are other factors that are important for you to achieve success here. For example your content will have to be very well written. This need not be expensive if you are hiring an online writer as we have various low cost options that will give you quality content.

Whatever you need to do will be well worth the effort because using this method, the visitors whom you end up with at your site will tend to continually and perpetually click at your Adsense ads. Causing your Adsense earnings to rise steeply. Which is exactly what you want to happen. But then there is plenty more you can do to increase your volume of visitors and ultimately the clicks at your sites and your Adsense revenue.

$1 Million in Google AdSense Earnings

They are calling him the million dollar man. Jason Calacanis recently revealed in his blog that he is on track to earn a million dollars from AdSense over the year ahead.

And if that number doesn't wake you up and have you sitting on the edge of your seat, consider for a moment that he reached this level in less than a year. His company only started using AdSense in September 2004.

Calacanis runs Weblogs Inc., a network dedicated to creating trade weblogs across niche industries. And he's quickly proven that AdSense is a credible advertising partner.

As their network has grown, so has their AdSense revenue. In January 2005 they earned an average of $580 per day. In March it was $737. In May it was $1,585. One day in July, just before he made the blog entry referred to above, they earned $2,335. Remember that is just for one day. If they can take that daily average to $2,740 they'll be earning a rate of $1 million for a year. And Calacanis predicts that reaching daily earnings of $3,000 or even $5,000 is quite achievable.

That's quite an achievement. Keep in mind that Calacanis has 103 bloggers on the payroll and nine staffers. Even so, many webmasters would give an arm or a leg to have even a third of that.

Google's AdSense has been revolutionary. It has become firmly established as the darling of the online advertising industry. Although rumors are heard of major competitors launching a similar service, AdSense's premier position seems secure for now.

In essence, AdSense has made it possible for almost anyone with a web site or blog to earn some revenue from advertising, without having to employ sales people or spend precious time searching for advertisers.

AdSense works like this. Webmasters sign up for an account in just a few minutes. They receive a small snippet of code to include on their web pages. Google will then automatically serve advertisements that are relevant to the content on the webmaster's pages. When someone visits the webmaster's site and clicks on one of Google's AdSense advertisements, the webmaster earns a fee. Advertisers can pay anywhere from five cents to a hundred dollars per click, and the webmaster receives a percentage of that fee.

Many webmasters are content with earning five to ten dollars from AdSense to cover the cost of web hosting. But many, unsurprising, have higher ambitions. At a popular WebmasterWorld forum, participants share tips and encouragement on reaching a goal of $300 per day from AdSense. So it is no wonder that Calacanis created quite a buzz when he made his million dollar blog entry.

Google have proven once again that they excel at designing innovative Internet services. If you are in the web industry and have not yet used AdSense, then perhaps you should try it out. Or if you are already using it, perhaps Calacanis' impressive results will encourage you to track the performance of your AdSense units more closely, fine tune their positions and formats, and take your earnings to a new level.

7 Steps of Mega Adsense Earners

The Google Adsense program is like finding money in the street. Kids in high school are making thousands of dollars a month with Adsense... Housewives, retiree's, Mom and Pop's who've never made a dime on the Internet have created full time incomes by simply placing AdSense Ads on their web site or blog.

Then you have the "Super AdSense" earners. We have all heard of them... the Elite few who are on track to make half a million dollars a year or more promoting AdSense sites.

Do not be mistaken though... these people are not building like your Mom and Pop's do. They have systems in place that create sites for them... people who build sites for them... they have outsourced and automated many of the tedious tasks such as posting to blogs and searching for keywords.

While most people cannot emulate everything these Super AdSense earners do... many of them you can.

Here are 7 Required Steps you can implement today to copy their success.

1) Starting today... treat your AdSense business like it is a REAL business and track what you do.
Begin tracking what you are doing that works... as well as what you are doing that does not work. This will keep you from making the same mistakes over and over, and you can repeat the steps that have worked in the past. As simple as this step seems... most people do not know the reason(s) to their success or failure.

2) Utilize the latest tools and software available.
The Super AdSense earners are not any smarter than your average person. I know many people think they are... but for the most part, they are regular non techie people.

They are smarter in one respect though... they use the latest tools available to them to automate most of the tasks involved with researching and creating sites. They use the latest keyword, site creation and search engine optimization tools available. The tools they use are their secret weapons.

3) Quit chasing the Mega Dollar keywords.
You cannot compete with the search engine experts who create sites for the $80 payout keywords. You may get lucky every now and then... but in the long run, you are better off building sites for the low to mid range payout keywords. The competition is less, and your chance of success is much higher over the long term.

4) Choose broad niches and break it down.
Choose a broad subject as your main theme (lets use computers for an example). From there... break it down into as many sub niches as possible.

Using Computers as the example... you could build sub niches/sites like laptop computers, computer hard drives, computer keyboards, etc, etc. You could literally build hundreds of sites around one major theme and stay totally focused. Once you have exhausted every possible sub niche of that major theme... choose another main theme and repeat the process.

5) KISS
Keep your sites easy to navigate and forget the fancy graphics that distract your visitors attention. Unless you are just building AdSense sites for the fun of it and to impress your friends... the purpose of having the site is to have people click on one of the ads, right? Then keep the site layout simple... dump the scrolling banners, dancing chickens and colored scroll bars... they are distractions.

6) What is the purpose of your web site?
Your web site cannot be everything to everybody. If you have a full fledged ecommerce site, with products for sale... links to other products, it is not a good site for AdSense. If the primary focus of the site is to sell products... let it do that.

Do not distract or confuse your visitor with to many options or choices. The best AdSense sites are AdSense only content sites that sell nothing. They are sites that "Tell"... not "Sell."

7) Be consistent.
This is not one of those deals where you build one site and you are done. Refer back to Step #4. You must continuously build in order to be successful.

Think of it as planting a crop that you will harvest in a month or two, and the sites you build are seeds. Once the seeds have grown and matured... you will reap the harvest. The more seeds you plant... the larger the harvest.

To sum it up... utilize the tools available to automate as much of the process of building sites - doing research and building keyword lists as you can. This alone will help keep you organized and on track. Be consistent in building... treat it like the business it is and you will reap the rewards of your harvest

How to Monetize Autoresponders for Google Adsense Income

Let me share with you an idea....

Autoresponders work great at follow up, but have you ever thought of doing this one little change to make more money?

I recently went to one of the biggest internet marketing seminars last week in Los Angeles and one little tip they gave me, made a HUGE difference in my Adsense income in ONE DAY.

I am no expert when it comes to Adsense, but this one little tip increased my revenue 6 times in one day from what I used to make.

In one day, I matched the income I made in the previous entire month. Also the tip I am about to give you may take some time to implement, but mostly, it is a copy and pasting dream come true, with not much programming or html knowledge needed. It also helps if you have a large email list too.

If you don’t know, Google has an advertising program for people called Adsense, where you place google ads on your site, and when people click on them, you get paid. If people click on them a lot, you get paid a lot.

So my single tip for today is to MONETIZE your autoresponders.

If you use an email autoresponder for E-newsletters, ezines, or mini-ecourses, here is what you do.

Instead of sending the newsletter content ALL in the email, which can lead to deliverability issues, just offer the intro first paragraph in the email, as a teaser and point the reader BACK to your content website with a link to continue reading and consuming the content. Build a page there with the entire email located back on your website and you monetize the content with Adsense links.

Which kind of Adsense links work best?

Studies and tests have proven, over and over that the biggest way to get clicks is to make the Adsense text boxes blend in to your text and actually make it look like it is a part of the content.

So, make your titles Blue, like we see on clickable hyperlinks. Hyperlinks are blue and people are trained to click on blue links.

What is the best style of box to use?

The best box is the text ad unit which displays the 336 X 280 large rectangles with 4 or 5 links. A link may look like this:

Podcast Secrets Revealed <= Blue Hyperlink
Learn How to Podcast fast, with step by step <= Black Text
instructions, guaranteed. <= Black Text
www.podcastsecretsrevealed.com <= Grey text

Make the description text black and the bottom link a light grey color, but remember to make the top link blue, like a hyperlink color. Place these rectangles right into your content, right between paragraphs. You want it to blend in. You can place the rectangle 3 times on a page, so make sure you put it in spots that make sense, to maximize click behavior.

The Adsense robot will spider content, and offer appropriate ads which match content, so the person will click on the links, because of relevancy.

Also, if your site is colored differently, then just make the Adsense boxes match the themes on your sites, so the content still blends in, the clickable links are matching in color.

Doing this in one day put my Adsense income, which was hitting at .05-.30 a day… to $3.36 a day, with only one change. I know that is not much for one website… but what if you had 5, 10, 70 or 100 websites? Start thinking in terms of lots of websites and lots of autoresponder follow ups.

What if you had 10, 20, or 50 follow up messages. Now you can make money over and over again, and send your leads clicking through your content letter pages making your income explode.

If they were not going to buy anything in the first place, at least you are getting your money back for the possible cost of the lead acquisition, right? Now it becomes advertising that pays for itself and I like that!

Now do this for many websites, and it could be a huge difference in Adsense income. It might be a small bother to take the time to do it, but just sit down and do one or two hours of updating a day, and in no time, your monthly Adsense revenue could be as much as your regular job revenue.

How to Increase Your AdSense Revenue Stream

Google's AdSense program is one of the best, if not the best, revenue programs for web site managers. While the program has certainly created wealth for many site owners, there are opportunities for you to increase your wealth if you follow these important strategies.

1. Increase Your Content. A small 8-10 page site can generate AdSense revenue particularly if the information is up to date and the site is well maintained. A better option: increase your site's size by at least tenfold and include AdSense ads on those pages as well. So, you're not a writer? Don't let that stop you! There are plenty of article submission sites on the internet which will allow for you to take their content and include it on your site as long as all the links listed within the article remain in place.

2. Experiment With Ad Placement. Ads that are clean, borderless and above the fold of the screen are certain to get noticed. Google has some wonderful tips on their site outlining the best strategies for ad placement; incorporate their suggestions and your revenue will increase.

3. Wrap Your Article. Your ads can appear right in the middle of your article [actually, to the left or to the right of it] and the text of the article will wrap around your ad. Guess what? Because Google does such a superb job of serving relevant ads, your readers will notice that the ads served match your content. They will click for more information it they notice the ad.

4. Declutter Your Site. An overcrowded page will look too busy, distract your readers, and cause them to move on without clicking on your ads. Make your site as visually appealing as possible; use Verdana or Arial as your fonts, black or navy as the font colors, size your fonts appropriately. Have your ad match your page color, omit borders, and go for a clean look.

5. Use Channels. Google has this to say about channels:

Channels provide you with a way to view detailed reporting about the performance of your pages. By assigning a channel to any combination of pages, you can track a variety of metrics across your sites. Track your leaderboard performance versus the performance of your towers, or compare your motorcycle pages to your automobile pages, by assigning each group of pages to a specific channel and comparing results in your custom channel reports. You can even assign a channel to each of your separate domains, to see where your clicks are coming from.
Naturally, by utilizing channels you will learn the specific amount of income generated by each page and then be able to adjust your pages accordingly.

6. Include High Paying Keywords. Some keywords pay more than others, much more in fact. You may be generating steady income, but at a nickel or dime a click that does not translate into much money. Learn which words pay more and include content containing those words.

AdSense revenue can vary greatly from month to month and you will even hear stories of people making a living off of Adsense. You can, but you need to do plenty of work by building a site that is relevant, AdSense popular, and loaded with content.
